2004-07-02 [BarleySinger]: more to the point of this wiki, I've been having a lot of conversations with people in elftown, and the general gist is that there are a huge (oddly high) number of people here who are : cutters and victims of sexual assault. Damn, it really pisses me off that so many people in the "cycle of abuse" become abusers themselves and spread more pain around. It also seems that most of the abused of elftown don't trust their parents enough to talk to them. That is some serious distrust. I trust my parents! - to be the narrowminded right wing fundamentalist
